I first came across   “Foot Mask!” I was intrigued. The salesgirls were really insistent – foot masks were apparently amazing. I wasn’t so taken, but when you are on a holiday, you buy too many things you don’t really need. So I went ahead and got one. “Why not?”

Of course, coming home and seeing the bank account would be why not. But I digress.

So your feet. Your feet are what you walk around on. They go through a lot everyday, withstanding your entire body’s weight and dealing with all the strain and stress of having to carry you everywhere! Often as a result, the skin on your feet become thick, hard and generally not very nice. (Such a scientific way of describing things… isn’t it?)

So in comes the feet mask. It is said to be able to remove the dead skin, peel it all off and moisturize at the same time to enable your feet’s skin to be beautifully smooth and soft. To have feet like a baby. Intriguing! What I found really interesting and cute was that the mask came in separate Left and Right packaging! It makes sense, when you think about it, but I still find it really quite adorable.

Pour the liquid into the little booties, put them on and turned on the TV. I do love masks as they are a really good excuse for us to put our feet up, in this case, literally!

 

I was really hoping that the effect was instant, but unfortunately not. This is not a product flaw, it’s more of a patience flaw with me!

After a few days, I was starting to see loose skin pockets here and there but nothing major.

In one week’s time, my feet were looking pretty darn diseased. I had loose skin hanging around everywhere!

Being the impatient sort, I went against the warning and started picking and peeling off loose skin.

This resulted in sheets of skin all over my living room floor. Yuck!

After two weeks, all loose skin had either been picked off by me or had fallen off naturally.

The skin on my feet were amazingly smooth, soft and I kept feeling the urge to run my hands over them. I was in love!

I then started contemplating how soon thereafter I could apply my next mask as I’d love to have smooth feet like these forever.
